About

Amalia Angulo

Cuban-born, Hudson Valley-based painter weaving personal mythology through ecological reverence. My work explores sacred connections between the feminine, flora, fauna, and the divine, channeling the Caribbean’s joyous mystery into contemporary visual narratives.

Born in Havana to artist parents, I studied at Altos de Chavón School of Design in the Dominican Republic before settling in New York. My paintings are held in private collections across the Americas and Europe and have been exhibited internationally, from New York, Miami and Los Angeles to Spain, Belgium and Germany.
